Camp Mi-A-Kon-Da

Established in 1955, Mi-A-Kon-Da is a summer camp for girls ages 7 to 16 who come from locations across Canada and around the world. Nestled amongst 200 year old majestic pine trees in the heart of the Canadian Shield, Mi-A-Kon-Da is situated on beautiful Birch Island, near Parry Sound, Muskoka, and Algonquin Park, Ontario.

This private 24-acre island consists of secluded sandy beaches, calm bays, nature trails and granite rock outcroppings providing incredible views - all which serve as an outstanding backdrop for the wide range of activates that Mi-A-Kon-Da offers.

Due to its unique camp size, the Mi-A-Kon-Da activity program has been designed to provide each camper with a wide selection of water and land-based activities - choices that campers make for themselves based on their interest level.

Providing rich overnight summer camping experiences for girls aged 7 - 16 since 1955, Camp Mi-A-Kon-Da is a fully accredited Ontario Camping Association residential summer camp for girls.

The caring, friendly and highly trained staff will make the Mi-A-Kon-Da experience unforgettable. Utilizing a high staff to camper ratio, Mi-A-Kon-Da will provide the safest and most enjoyable camping experience possible.
