Archery

Archery is a sport everyone can be successful at regardless of age, size or physical ability. It develops hand-eye coordination, dexterity and teaches the importance of focus / concentration.

Mi-A-Kon-Da's archery program offers campers a chance to improve fundamental skills and learning more advanced techniques, while still maintaining a fun environment.

Our outdoor archery range provides campers with an opportunity to experience traditional long-bow archery under the careful supervision of trained counsellors. Campers shoot at bullseye targets placed before an arrow resistant net in a safe area on the island. Archery counsellors emphasize safety and fun as they cover rules integrated with archers' games. There is often a great thrill derived from a camper hitting their first bull's eye!
