Kayaking

This popular activity provides the camper with everything needed to get going with kayaking! Experienced instructors help the participants learn entries, exits, basic paddling and support strokes.

As confidence is developed in the kayak, campers can enjoy a peaceful paddle around the island, play games like "Kiss the Kayak" and learn to do Eskimo rolls. When campers are ready to learn Eskimo rolls, they receive additional one-on-one instruction and assistance from our experienced staff.

We have a wide variety of kayak types which are comfortable and easy to paddle allowing for a variety of skills to be learned. Through this skill development, campers are allowed to explore destinations on the lake with ease.
